30 missionary couples and individuals are supported by Emmanuel Church. Missionary involvement has been the heartbeat of Emmanuel Church for over 50 years. Ed and Angie Tschetter were called to missionary service in Mali, West Africa and supported almost entirely by the Emmanuel Church. Through them the church has opened its heart to other missionaries.

The work of Child Evangelism Fellowship has been a special focus both in South Dakota and throughout the United States. The C.E.F. Assistant to the Vice-President for International Ministries, Myron Tschetter and his wife Nita, are members of Emmanuel. Volunteer members from Emmanuel serve yearly at Rio Grande Bible Institute on the Texas border with Mexico.
