To present the Good News of abundant, eternal life through Jesus Christ who died on the cross to take the punishment for our sin and rose in victory over death and sin. We are called to "speak the truth in love (Eph. 4:18)", by sharing the Word of God with compassion for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of any and every person. We provide a local family of the Body of Christ that shares in worship, fellowship, teaching and observance of the ordinances of believer baptism and the Lordís Supper (Acts 2:42).
Emmanuel Church provides teaching from Godís Word for all ages through Sunday School, Worship Services, monthly evening services, yearly Bible conferences, and small group fellowship. From late fall through early spring there are weekly prayer meetings on Wednesday night with classes for all ages.
Emmanuel Church uses a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary songs and choruses. The church presents a Christmas cantata, and participates in a community Easter cantata presented in area churches. Young people are very involved in music at Emmanuel.
The high school youth group meets monthly and is planning a missions trip to Mexico in June 2007. Their sponsors are Rod & Deneise Wipf.
