Pastor Gordon has served at Emmanuel Mennonite Church since June of 1988. He is a graduate of Grace University and Western Baptist Seminary. He and his wife, Delphia, have three children: Adrienne (Jeremy) Grace, Allison (Ryan) Petersen and Austin.

Pastor Gordon's preaching ministry is based on the Word of God with studies in books and passages of the Bible, as well as topical studies of Bible characters like Joseph and themes such as the family and stress. He utilizes PowerPoint presentations and object lessons in his messages.

Pastor Gordon is active in teaching Sunday School, teaching in a CEF Good News Club in the Doland School and communicating with Emmanuel Church missionaries in the United States and other countries. He and his wife enjoy sharing in the music ministry of the church and community. He enjoys traveling, music and the occasional golf game.
